About MCD: Who we are!
Since 2019!
Magic City Disco is a co-ed, adult (age 21 and older), official 501c7 non-profit performance and parading group. We have performed at venues all over Birmingham, including the Lyric and Alabama Theatres, Virginia Samford Theatre, Sloss Furnace, The Club, Protective Stadium, Legacy Arena, and Regions (Birmingham Barons) Baseball Field. We regularly participate in numerous parades in Birmingham, including the Central Alabama Pride Parade, Homewood Christmas Parade, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and Mystics of Mountain Brook Parade. We also perform in Mardi Gras Parades in Mobile, Decatur, and Huntsville. In addition, we have paraded in the Atlanta Pride Parades, New York Dance Parade, and London New Years Day Parade. You may see us at wedding receptions, class reunions, fundraisers, and promotional events – or just flashmobbing at downtown restaurants! We are everywhere!
