Birmingham's Groove Krewe

Magic City Disco (MCD) is a performance and parading group inspired by a love of the funk and groove of 1970's and 1980's disco. Our roots go back to the New Orleans Mardi Gras dance krewes who inspired us to start an adult dance group in Birmingham. Magic City Disco has performed in Alabama, Georgia, and for the first time this year in London, England with our sister organization, Disco Amigos. MCD is a performance group that loves to be a part of parades, social events, festivals, and fundraisers. We practice regularly to learn and execute choreography and parading skills, and are always looking to bring some dance moves and fun!
